Move along, move along just to make it through
WHO: Makoto, OTA
WHAT: THE BOY IS BACK! And is feeling super confused and guilty.
WHERE: The Village in the Marsh.
WHEN: Sometime before the sleepover
WARNINGS Guilt, bad memories, attempted abduction
Hope of Morning
[Waving goodbye to the Ferryman before entering the village, Makoto's small and tired smile falls as he looks around at the huts. He tried to not show it to the Ferryman but he feels awful for getting lost and leaving the group. After all, he had chewed out Nagito for doing so and he hadn't been lost for as long as Makoto was! How did he even get lost so thoroughly?! He swears he just went out for a quick look!
Sighing to himself, he shakes his head before moving deeper into the village, looking around for anyone he knows. As he looks, he calls in a small and hesitant voice to anyone who might hear him.]
Komeda-kun? Frieda-san? Anyone here? It's me. I-I'm back.
[Oh he hopes the others have been okay without him. He hopes they didn't worry too much about him. Especially Nagito and Sunny. He had promised them that he'd never leave them. Another promise broken Makoto. He shakes off that whisper that threatens to drown him in memories as he waits for a response.]
100 bad days
[Makoto opens his eyes groggily as he feels the ground sway, grumpily grumbling to himself about what has woken him. He was having a good rest unlike usual! No nightmares or anything! Tempted to forget about it, he closes his eyes again when the ground moved again. What is it this time? Forcing himself up, he looks around the hut and sleepily watches as the shadows on the wall continue swaying. Why was it swaying?
Turning to look out the door, his eyes widens as he sees the outside slowly move past the door. What?! Now wide awake, he scrambles to get to his feet as he feels the sways increase in length and speed. Rushing to the door, he looks outside and gasps when he sees the village slowly getting farther away from him.]
What the?! H-Help!
Aftermath
[After his rather stressful wake up call, Makoto can be found looking at the small huttlets fondly if exasperatedly as he watches them play together. Chuckling when he sees two roughhouse and then squabble amongst themselves, he hums in amusement as he hears someone approach him.]
They're much cuter when they're not trying to abduct me.

Re: hope of morning
Komaeda-kun...
[His relieved whisper is quickly overshadowed by his overwhelming joy, as he soon finds himself waving and running towards Nagito as he grins happily.]
Komeada-kun!

Komaeda-kun...I'm okay.
[Makoto gently rubbed Nagito's back as he talks, taking in everything as he soothes his friend and himself. I'm back.]
I mostly just slept. I don't remember much until the Ferryman found me. I do remember hearing voices though. They kept trying to call to me.
no subject
Were you that tired? [More likely it was something supernatural, of course.] Did you recognize the voices?
no subject
I suppose so. I just remember wandering the desert for a while then...dozing? It's a bit hard to describe. I drifted for a while and heard those voices. I didn't recognize them but they seemed to be wanting me to respond. Then I woke up in the Marsh. Floating on the river. Then I saw Ferryman-san. They brought me here and then I found you.
[Makoto reluctantly pulls away from Nagito's shoulder but not far away from his arms. Makoto looks at Nagito, doing his own quick once over to see if his friend was okay.]
I'm so glad I found you again, Komaeda-kun. And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Komaeda-kun. I didn't mean to leave you for so long. I hope my disappearance wasn't too hard on you.
no subject
It wasn't hard on me! Nothing you do could be an inconvenience to me! [This is a lie, but it's how Nagito thinks he should feel, so he doesn't think it counts as one.] Besides, it wasn't as if you intended to get lost.
