Even Death won't stop the party
WHO: OTA - Mingle
WHAT: Kel is throwing a small party. A 'memories' party.
WHERE: Generic Shelter #1231412.
WHEN: Shortly after learning what their tool is going to be.
WARNINGS None for now, possibly dark topics may be tagged in the comments.
"Welcome to this pretty-average-to-mediocre party! I'm glad you could make it!"
He sent the text out earlier, inviting everyone in their group to... celebrate. And share memories. And 'live a little'. The entire text had been a lot of rambling about him trying his best and how important it was to celeberate who they were and who they currently are, trying to learn about each other despite the circumstances. Fow now? He's just welcoming people to the shelter he used for himself- he built makeshift tents with sticks and whatever he could find and prepared games.
"Any occasion to mingle is precious, isn't it? Come on, let's spend time together! Oh, and make yourself comfortable as you can!"
There are pillows, a few chairs, and Kel did his best to offer sources of shades all over the place. Bright, pink party cups have been generously filled with water and the few games he could think of have been prepared. He moves around explaining them, even if they're really basic- perhaps, if he's super lucky, someone coming from a very different world never heard of them.
It is worth mentioning everyone who shows up will get a flower between their hair, either given to them by Mari or Kel, and one to 'leave somewhere nice on the oasis'.
Piñata Time! - There isn't a LOT sitting around, but he did manage to put together a couple of colorful Piñata with pages he stripped from comics, water and a lot of patience as he kept folding things so they could barely stay together in some round shapes. Inside those? More paper strips to pretend it's confetty, the lack of candies or better items doesn't really make them stand out but they're there and he found a stick for people to use. Hopefully they'll not fall down before being used.
Spin the bottle! - Finding an empty bottle of a drink he used to love? Depressing. The possible uses he could find for it, though? Eh... better than nothing. Kel will explain both 'normal' (and gross, according to him) and 'Kel style' rules for Spin the Bottle. In one kisses are involved, in the other he suggests a small group to gather, to have someone ask a question, spin the bottle and whoever it's pointed at? They'll have to answer, as long as they feel like doing it.
'To get to know each other better'.
'Pen and paper' - Sticks have been found, Sand has been flattened as well as possible and everything is ready to go. Kel can and will explain the rules for games like Tic Tac Toe, the Hanged man, the 'you draw something and the other person has to guess' game. Overall, if it can be done with some pen and paper, he'll try to help with it-
As a social person who spent a crapton of time with friends playing stupid games? Kel will even know more obscure games like Nim or Lasso.
'Music Corner' - A part a bit distant from the rest, still with pillows and all, where Kel put water cups and tried to isolate as he could with a few horrible looking anime blankets he found around. It's a space where people are invited to share about their culture in more than a one-on-one settings and since music is so deep into people's lives, at least in his opinion? He did his best to carve a spot where people could share that too.
'Flower crowns laboratory' After tossing flowers all around the oasis, Kel and Mari did agree on working together on another little step. Circles of paper have been prepared already, even if they're far from perfect, and a lot of flowers have been placed on a blanket on the floor.
Anyone who may want to try doing so will get assisted in building a little flower crown, with Kel and Mari giving them even more flowers to put around the oasis. 'Gotta make home look a bit nicer, right?'
There are areas where to relax and chat too, sadly this is far from what Kel would consider a party but he does hope that people at least sit in the memories sharing area and talk to each other.

Party Time!
Sunny isn’t one for parties. …He feels like he’s been thinking about that a lot lately. Still… Kel put this on, and the least he can do is show up for… a little bit?
He can always go home whenever.
That doesn’t mean Sunny’s nerves don’t get the best of him at times. He can be seen poking his head in from the doorway, peeking inside to see who is there and (mentally) trying to psyche himself up into actually entering the room.
“U-um…”
Spin the Bottle - Kel Style
Sunny finds himself one of the people sitting in said group. No kisses for him, perfectly fine, though answering questions might be difficult depending on what the topic is.
When one of the bottles lands on him, Sunny finds he actually forgot what was asked and sits there rather awkwardly.
“…”
Pen and Paper
This activity is one Sunny is rather decent at. He’s particularly fond of tic-tac-toe and hangman (even if he can be seen looking confused at the ground, as if searching for something).
After a few minutes of said starting at the ground and (apparently) being satisfied by what he saw (or didn’t), he sets up a game of hangman.
“Start… easy…” The teen explains, even if there’s a sort of light in his eyes as he looks at whoever approached.
The hangman is as follows:
_ A _ T _
(Or, really, suggest a game and he will gladly oblige.)
Flower Crowns
Sunny spends most of his time here. Not because he’s the most fond of this activity, but the reason soon becomes obvious.
“…” He pouts a bit as the stem seems to come undone despite his knot.
Sunny isn’t very good at this…
Wildcard
(Want something else? Let me know!)
Re: Pen and Paper
"P?" She tried, guessing as she stared down at the letters. She wasn't normally that good at these types of games, but since it was Sunny playing, she wanted them both to have fun.

P A _ T _
She got it right.
no subject
What about… ‘n’?
[Perhaps the answer was something you wore?]
no subject
Bzzzzt. Wrong.
He writes down and crosses out the letter ‘N’, so she knows what she’s tried already, and then draws a head for the hangman.
There’s a lot of tries left though, so it’s not like she’s in trouble (yet).]

Flower Crowns
Sunny, is it alright if I help you? Or would you rather figure it out on your own?
Frieda <3 I’m so happy she picked this one :D
But… it wasn’t Frieda’s fault… he had been the one to run off and worry everyone. It wasn’t her fault… and yet he couldn’t get the words unstuck from his throat.
Instead, his voice was small and shy.] H-hi… help… please…
♡♡♡
It takes a steady hand and some patience, but if you pick flowers with long enough stems, it's not too hard. I've made many such garlands for my little sisters.
[She demonstrates the next steps, quickly progressing her work into a short line of flowers.]
How about we work in parallel? Once we have enough, we can tie our lines together into one garland.
no subject
Still… Frieda had a point, and if they each did half, maybe it would take less time? He nods.]
Let’s… try…
[Collaboration in this regard is new, but if it’s with Frieda, then he slowly relaxes. Even as his knots take longer to make, the shaking of his hands subsides.]

Party ^^
Hanako isn’t one to try being blindfolded and hitting a piñata.
He is, however, having a wonderful time calling out directions (maybe false) and laughing at someone else’s attempts.
“You almost had it~! Just a bit more!”
If it’s encouragement or a flat-out lie is anyone’s guess.
Spin the Bottle
The former ghost is maybe a little too eager to join the group gathered at this game.
Why? Because one can learn a lot when someone is forced to answer questions unwittingly!
As the bottle lands on someone, he cheerfully calls out “Don’t be shy now~!”
His own gaze widens briefly when the bottle turns to him. “What do you want to know?” He asks, eyes bright and smile teasing.
Music Corner
Having fun is all well and good, but even Hanako needs a break every now and again.
As the time drags on, the boy can be found near the refreshments table or tucked away in the music corner, leaning against the wall and pillow firmly beneath him.
His amber gaze will look up if someone approaches. “Need a bit of a break, too?”

Re: Spin the Bottle
I've got you now... no running away this time!
She eagerly stared at the bottle, smiling brightly when it finally landed on Hanako-kun.
"Why plain donuts?"
Wait?! Why did I ask that out of all the other questions I had?!
I’m ROFLing
“Ah, are you sure you can handle this?” The question was teasing and slightly concerned in nature, though the former came through his tone.
And maybe his fears would have been proven true… except for the fact that the bottle landed on him. A bit problematic, sure, but nothing he couldn’t handle. If anything, he could probably redirect her away from anything too close to the truth.
The boy wriggled where he sat, a goading expression on his face. “You want to know my secrets~? Be careful, some of them are really-“
And then she mentioned that.
“Eh?” Hanako practically froze, dead gaze widening in something unrecognizable to the others seated there.
. . . .
“Ya-Ya-YASHIRO?!” Then, the boy screeched, her question hitting him square in the heart. “WHY???”
To anyone watching, he’s acting like she literally stabbed him or something…
His cheeks flushed so violently that his hands moved to block his face, expression unreadable.
Music Corner
I don't really need a break, I just wanted to look at this corner.
[Her eyes wander over the pillows, blankets, and water cups, lingering on the latter for a moment. How long has it been since she last ate and drank anything? She hasn't felt hungry or thirsty, and part of her is apprehensive that she might just break that spell by drinking now.]
Kel is so good to make such an effort each time.
no subject
[Even as he asks the question, something about her answer seemed amusing to him. He can’t help the grin that spreads across his face.
The conversation turns to the host of tonight’s (today’s?) event, and Hanako finds his gaze seeking the boy out.]
Seems like he puts a lot of effort into everything. Admirable, but not overly sustainable.
[An observation, plain and simple. It wasn’t like he was worried.]

[Nagito, as probably expected at this point, finds a spot against the wall after taking one of those party cups. He seems to be enjoying watching everyone else have fun, judging by the softer than usual smile on his face.
He can't quite stop touching the flower in his hair. His flesh hand goes to it over and over, like he can't quite convince himself he didn't imagine receiving it.]
B; Piñata Time
Wow, Kel-kun really went to a lot of trouble, huh? [Making piñatas and all--Nagito has only ever seen them on television. He has a general idea of how it works, though he frowns at the stick.]
I don't know if someone like me should-- [He pauses, frowning more deeply as something occurs to him. Then, very uncertainly:] Or--maybe it's okay if I try...?
C; Flower Crown Lab
[Even after Nagito decides to participate in this activity, he still sits back as far as he can get while still within reach of the flowers. He has a comically serious expression on his face as he tries to make his fingers braid the flowers appropriately. However, flesh or metal hand, no matter which he uses...
Well, it always seems to fall apart halfway through. He chuckles, looking faintly embarrassed.]
It seems like dying hasn't made my hands any more dexterous.
D; Wildcard
[Nagito can be found around the edges of the party. If you have something in mind, hit me up!]
Pinata Time
[She offered the stick to Komaeda-senpai, a smile on her face.]
I say go for it! It's a lot of fun!
[Did she really just want to see Nagito hit something and fantasize about him killing a dragon? She wouldn't admit it but...]

You should probably take a few steps back.

Piñata Time
[The teen crosses his arms, looking at him, frowning and wiggling a finger.]
No 'someone like me' here. We're all here to have fun and be positive, even about ourselves.
[Kel may be the number one hater when it comes to himself, a gentle gift he carries over from struggling with his family in being always number two and never 'good enough', but he's not taking that kind of talks from anyone else. And, hey, he's at least very good at hiding it.]
It's absolutely okay if you try! I wsh I had candies to put inside but, you know... we aren't exactly in a place with access to a candy shop. Come on, cover your eyes and swing a bat- I can guide you. [A wink] Or pretend to do so and make you wave the stick around like a fool. Oh oh oh... such an evil plan, right?

Piñata Time!
[Despite the fact that there wasn't any candy in the pinata, it didn't stop Yashiro from participating in the game. It felt nice to hit something and take out her frustrations on the inanimate object.]
This is for all the guys who rejected me!
[Was that too much information? Right now she didn't care as she took her frustrations out on the round ball.]
Spin the Bottle!
[The classic game of Spin the bottle! Her eyes lit up in glee as she sat down in the circle with the others. This was typically how pairings began after all! Romance bloomed when two people were chosen to kiss once the bottle landed on two targets after all! She's also up for the spilling secrets version! So spin away and let the fun begin!]
Pen and Paper
[Yashiro gladly participated in the variety of games that were being offered, willing to drag others into the fun as well and help explain the games if she knew what it was. She glanced over at you with a bright smile on her face.]
Which one would you like to play first?
Flower Crowns Laboratory
[While Yashiro didn't have any practice making flower crowns before, she did had plenty of practice at other feminine things. Surely this wouldn't be that hard right? Choosing a variety of pastel colored flowers, she set about trying to make one to wear at the party.]
What colors are you going to choose?
Wildcard
As always, have something else you want to do with Yashiro? Please feel free to comment! :)
Flower Crowns
Well, Marigolds come only in so many colors. But isn't Orange the best one?
[A sincere sentence, there. They came in orange, yellow, red, gold, copper, brass, and white, but it was... at least a nice mix. Right?]
What about you?
Re: Flower Crowns
[She could see why Kel loved the color. It fit him perfectly...]
Hmm... probably red and white maybe? If you are allowed to use multiple colors...
[Yashiro smiled as she glanced down at the in progress crown.]
Where did you find all these flowers anyways? I thought they didn't grow that well in the desert...
