Therapy Session Take #1

WHAT: Mari is hosting a therapy session! Come if you would like, or if you want to argue against it feel free to show up as well! This is more informal than it seems although she did invite some guest speakers.
WHERE: One of the large buildings that was most likely a common area for everyone, or just a super large bedroom.
WHEN: After First Crossing

A message goes out on the server from Mari: Sorry for the delay everyone! I thought it best to wait a bit till after the meeting Kel thoughtfully put together for all of us! If you would like to come for the Therapy Session, please come to building X. If you would like to bring anyone or anything along please do! Special guest speakers/appearances include Makoto Naegi, Daniil Dankovsky, and Soo Won.

Mari put her tablet down and went back to straightening the chairs she was able to gather in a circle. Surely this would be welcoming? This way they could all see each other and seek comfort if needed... but just in case, she had set up private areas using curtains as a makeshift divider in case others felt the need for a one on one talk...

It still felt strange to her to not have refreshments so she had cups filled with water just in case, surely even if they didn't need to drink it still helped to make the session feel welcoming?

As people filtered in she would call out a greeting. "Welcome and thank you for coming! If you feel comfortable taking a seat please do so! There are also refreshments over there."

It will be very exciting to see how everyone reacts to Naegi-sama! [His general delight for all things Makoto is good at keeping him, if not exactly relaxed, then not looking like he's standing for inspection. All other potential speakers are irrelevant right now.]

Have you heard Makoto talk before this?

[Nagito's delight at Makoto being a guest speaker must mean that he knew a bit of what Makoto had gone through. While she hadn't asked the other man for details before, it was clear that since he had mentioned going through therapy that something bad had happened to him before here.]

Not in person, just on television. Of course, it was wonderful that way, but it must be even better to actually be there in the room with him, you know? [He's practically vibrating in place.]

Of course! Seeing something in person is always more... what's the word I'm looking for? Hmm... in this case thrilling? Exciting? You can take it in better? Well you get the idea!

[She truly was glad that he had showed up and seemed to be excited about the event.]

Was Makoto some sort of celebrity?

[She knew that famous people often showed up on tv... and for Nagito to be able to watch Makoto talk... maybe he had been an actor?]

He's the Super High School Level Hope, which means he's more talented at hope than anyone else in our world. He saved everyone, so it's only fitting!

[From the way Nagito described him... it really was like Makoto was famous... and saving everyone? She wondered what that was about.]

You keep mentioning this 'hope'? Is it more the concept you are talking about or... something else?

[After all, there were many ways to give or describe hope. Although from the way Nagito talked about it... maybe it was something tangible in his world?]

The power to overcome despair. Absolute good. The shining light of the world. [Of every world, he's sure. There's nothing more important.]

[Mari supposed that was a rather extreme way to put it... but then again words had many different definitions based on where it was originated from.]

Ah that's true. And Makoto embodies this hope in your world.

[She could certainly see how that was. The man did inspire confidence and goodwill.]

Exactly. [Nagito hums, pleased.] Really, he's the only speaker you really need! Not that I think you should cancel all the others or anything.
