Nagito follows without complaint now, keeping up easily, though he remains deliberately a step or two behind. A rest, huh?

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep." Nagito, expression glazed over, doesn't seem aware he said that out loud. It's also a quote, which Mari may notice because his accent changed, which is to say his typical Japanese one is more obvious--he's not relying on the afterlife to translate his words into English, he's actually speaking it. What he says next he actually intends to say out loud. "Maybe it will be easier if you walk closer to Ferryman-san's light."

And he can stay near the back of the main group, and that will be better for everyone, surely.
