[As far as he cared, that ship had sailed for him. He was dead, love and school felt like distant concepts now that he was by all means... a ghost. And he doubted this hellish place had anything even akin to a school system fortunately enough.

Still... he wanted Mari to be happy. He wanted Mari to feel like her words had meaning, especially if his ideas were right and she had not been the one ending his own life. The thought alone hurt, but... she possibly didn't deserve his bitterness.

Who knows, maybe I'll find some cute ghost around the place. Maybe see if I can marry one of those creepy things outside, my tastes have always been weird.

[They had not, he liked Jay back home and that guy was far from 'conventionally unattractive', but Mari didn't need to know.]

Aaaaand I guess? I left only Hero to experience the joys of big brotherhood but that's okay, I think I was enough of a ruckus for him. Heh...

[He bit his lips, then, looking up at the buildings above. Maybe he could look for a piano or something for her? No clue, since they had not been at the settlement yet.]

Well... you know. Piano, cooking, both are wonderful things. certainly less boring than studying to be a doctor, I still don't know how Ma' convinced Hero to go that way. Heh... doesn't mater now. We... can be excellent at whatever we're doing here, right?
